Tamiko Ward has over 25 years of experience in the areas of urban education management, non-profit, and corporate industries. Tamiko currently manages cross-functional & organization-wide projects, facilitates training, and leads divisional Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives for The School District of Philadelphia. Prior to this, Tamiko served as a Director of Out-of-School Time Programs, overseeing multiple K-12 school locations. She also served in leadership roles in the corporate sector for 11 years. Tamiko has extensive experience working with diverse stakeholders and leading teams through change and growth.
Tamiko holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, including a Master of Education degree from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Delaware Valley University. Tamiko is a member of the Project Management Institute and a 2016 graduate of the Urban League of Philadelphia Urban Leadership Forum. Additionally, Tamiko has been coaching youth basketball for 20+ years.
