All registrations for 2019 trainings include access to regularly updated electronic training materials, including the full deck of training slides and supplemental materials.

Attendee contact information is not required at time of registration; ATIXA will reach out 7-10 days prior to the training to collect each attendee’s name, professional title, institutional affiliation, email address, and phone number. Access to materials is delivered via email to each attendee 5 days prior to the training.


To obtain a PreK-12 Title IX Administrator Certification, you will need to attend the whole event. What does this certificate mean? It means that you have tapped into the unparalleled expertise of ATIXA and the other carefully selected experts in the field.

Once the course is completed, you will receive your certification from ATIXA. Certificates for this training event are not automatically generated and are kept electronically via our Continuing Certification Credit (CCC) program. Please allow 7-10 business days following the completion of this course and log into or create an account with our CCC program. Learn more about our new program here.

HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®) has pre-approved this activity for 18 HR (General) recertification credit hours. Human Resources professionals requiring recertification credit hours will receive the activity ID upon completion of the event.

The use of this seal confirms that this activity has met HR Certification Institute’s® (HRCI®) criteria for recertification credit pre-approval.

All registrations for 2019 trainings include complimentary three-month K12 Trial Memberships for attendees who have no previous membership history with ATIXA. Active trial members have access to the full benefits of the corresponding membership level. ATIXA’s policies provide additional guidance regarding complimentary trial memberships.


Daniel Swinton is the Managing Partner of The NCHERM Group, LLC. Daniel consults frequently with colleges and universities on issues of Title IX, Campus SaVE and sexual violence, alcohol and other drugs, behavioral intervention, bystander intervention, student conduct policies and procedures, hearing board training, mediation and legal issues in higher education. Daniel often serves institutions as an external investigator for issues of sexual misconduct and other complex student conduct matters as well as employment concerns, retaliation and harassment. He has authored a number of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on topics ranging from student conduct to civil rights investigations. He is also a frequent presenter and invited speaker at national and regional conferences. Prior to his work with The NCHERM Group, he served as Assistant Dean and Director of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity at Vanderbilt University.



Training is from 9:00AM to 4:30PM. Registration will begin at 8:30AM. One hour will be provided for lunch. Two short breaks will be taken throughout the day.

Your host will provide a light continental breakfast and afternoon snack break each day. Lunch each day will be on your own.


Attire is business casual with an emphasis on casual.  Room temperatures may vary; layers are encouraged.

Technical Assistance

Internet access will be available upon arrival to facility. Attendees will have access to the WiFi network [FSU Guest] and once registered you will receive an access code to log-on. If you wish to use a laptop to take notes, please have your computer fully charged and consider bringing a back-up battery, as there are not enough outlets in the room for individual use. Staff on-site will not be available to provide any electrical cords or technological assistance.
