The Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) announces the 2020 ATIXA West Coast Annual Conference, March 31st-April 2nd at the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa in San Diego, CA. ATIXA hosts an annual conference to underscore the essential fusion of compliance and prevention in any conversation about campus sexual violence.

The 2020 ATIXA Conference Committee welcomes concurrent session proposals for the Conference, to be held Wednesday, April 1st, 2020 in San Diego, CA.

The conference will begin the evening of Tuesday, March 31st with an opening keynote and welcome reception. Wednesday, April 1st and Thursday, April 2nd will include a variety of concurrent and featured sessions, as well as roundtables and optional events, such as networking dinner, closing keynote, and receptions.

Pre-conference opportunities will be available Monday, March 30th & Tuesday, March 31st; additional fees apply.
Post-conference opportunities will be available Thursday, April 2nd-Saturday, April 4th; additional fees apply.

Conference Attire

Attire for all ATIXA events is business casual. Rooms are air-conditioned and can be chilly in the mornings especially. Additionally, evening temperatures can be chilly, so we recommend carrying a jacket or sweater for your comfort. Average temperatures for San Diego in early April range from 58°F to 70°F.

Registration fee includes attendance for one or two days, and extensive training materials. Continental breakfast, a mid-morning coffee/tea break, and an afternoon snack are all included. Lunch each day, dinner each evening, lodging and transportation costs will be paid by the participants. Registration fees apply to all attendees, including Super Members and retainer clients. Certification included.

Registration fees reflect all types of pricing. No additional discounts are available.

The ATIXA Investigation in a Box Kit will be made available electronically to registered attendees on the first day of the training, and after an attendee is confirmed as registered and attending. ATIXA will not provide access to this resource before the start of this training event.

Registrations include a three month Individual Membership* with purchase. Information on membership registration and access will be provided 10-15 business days following completion of registration.

*Limit one membership per person, even if attending multiple courses. Membership is non-transferrable. Membership with registration cannot serve as a renewal to current members. In service to the field, ATIXA welcomes the submission of scholarship applications for its upcoming 2020 West Coast Annual Conference and its Title IX Training & Certification courses in San Diego, CA. These scholarships aim to assist our colleagues in their professional development and commitment to their chosen profession. Scholarships will be awarded to applicants based upon written responses to the application questions.  A limited amount of scholarships will be awarded, and submission of the application does not mean a scholarship will be awarded.

Training courses will be held at the Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa located at 1775 E Mission Bay Dr, San Diego, CA 92109. Contact the hotel directly at (619) 276-4010.

Discounted room rates for all of the hotel room blocks starts at $225/night, plus taxes and fees, and are available until March 2, 2020 or until the group block is sold out. Attendees will be required to provide a first night’s deposit, refundable up to 5 days in advance of arrival. Guests reserved in the ATIXA designated group will receive complimentary WIFI in the guest room.

ATIXA cannot make special arrangements or assist in capturing discounted room rates post room block sell- out. Parking is available at the event hotel at the daily rates of $20 for self parking. Daytime event parking is $5.00 for up to 3 hours, $8.00 from 3-6 hours, and $12.00 from 6-18 hours.

Meals & Events

ATIXA will provide continental breakfast each morning, a mid-morning coffee/tea break, and an afternoon snack each day. Lunch and dinner will be paid by the participants each day.
