The Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) announces the 2019 ATIXA West Coast Annual Conference and Pre-Conference Training & Certification Courses, October 27th-30th at the Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa Valley, California. ATIXA is hosting this inaugural West Coast annual conference to underscore the essential fusion of compliance and prevention in any conversation about campus sexual violence. Please read the press release here.

The conference will begin the evening of Monday, October 28th with an opening keynote and welcome reception. Tuesday, October 29th and Wednesday, October 30th will include a variety of concurrent and featured sessions, as well as roundtables and optional events, such as networking dinner, and a reception. The conference will conclude with another featured session and mid-morning Closing Keynote on Wednesday, October 30th.

Pre-conference opportunities will be available Sunday, October 27th & Monday, October 28th; additional fees apply.

Conference Attire

Attire for all ATIXA events is business casual. Rooms are air-conditioned and can be chilling in the mornings especially.  Additionally, evening temperatures can be chilly, so we recommend carrying a jacket or sweater for your comfort. Average temperatures for Napa Valley in October range from 45°F to 77°F.

Conference registration fee includes the attendee welcome reception, breakfast, morning beverage service, lunch, and an afternoon snack break each day. Additionally, all exhibitor materials, conference session materials, and ATIXA-developed supplemental materials are also included. All other meals, lodging, and transportation costs are the responsibility of the participants.

Conference registration is not included in any pre-conference training opportunities. A separate registration fee is required for general conference attendance. Registration fees apply to all attendees, including retainer clients, Super and Premium membership categories, and all concurrent session presenters.

Apply for a Scholarship

In service to the field, ATIXA welcomed the submission of scholarship applications for the upcoming Annual West Coast Conference and ATIXA Training Courses as part of our pre-conference opportunities. These scholarships aim to assist our colleagues in their professional development and commitment to their chosen profession.

Scholarships will be awarded to applicants based upon written responses to application questions. A limited amount of scholarships will be awarded, and submission of an application does not mean a scholarship will be awarded. The receipt of a scholarship award in previous years does not preclude applicants from submission for or receipt of a scholarship.

ATIXA’s discounted room block at the Silverado Resort and Spa will close on September 27th, 2019 or when the room block is filled up. Please click here to be directed to the hotel room reservation discount portal.

Reservations can be made by contacting the hotel directly at 1-707-257-5531 and mentioning the ‘ATIXA Conference.’ All reservations must be accompanied guaranteed with a major credit card but a deposit is not necessary. Questions regarding included amenities or reservations must be directed to hotel. All attendees within the room-block will have access to parking, free in-room wifi, access to the golf and spa, unlimited local and toll-free calls, in-room coffee/tea service, tennis, access to the fitness center and all classes, property-wide transportation and a complimentary wine tasting for two.

ATIXA cannot make special arrangements or assist in capturing discounted room rates post room block closing date or if the block should sell out prior to the noted deadline. Any reservations made after the group block has sold out or closed will be accepted on a space- and room-type availability and at prevailing room rates.


There are several airports to choose from depending on location and cost. The following airports are listed in order of location closest to the hotel and training center:

  • Napa County Airport is 10.5 miles and a 26-minute drive to the hotel.
  • Oakland International Airport is 55.0 miles and a 1hr 20-minute drive (traffic dependent) to the hotel.
  • Sacramento International Airport is 56.0 miles and a 1hr 15-minute drive (traffic dependent) to the hotel.
  • San Francisco International Airport is 61.6 miles and a 1hr 30-minute drive (traffic dependent) to the hotel.


  • Transportation from the Napa County Airport is best taken with cab, Uber & Lyft ride-sharing services.
  • Transportation from the Sacramento International Airport can be obtained via rental car.
  • Transportation from the San Francisco Airport and Oakland Airports includes paid shuttle buses that run a fixed route schedule from the airport to the City of Napa. There are both self-park and valet at the Silverado Resort and Spa. Booking your room at the hotel provides complimentary parking throughout your stay. If you choose to stay at a different hotel location or drive-in for the day, the self-park and valet options are both also free.
