What is a successful achievement you have had doing Title IX work?
I am proud of the work that I have done in presenting, writing, and educating the field on the intersection of Title IX and race, and all of the protected classes under Title VI and VII, so that our institutions and programs are mindful of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Title IX space.
What is an ATIXA resource or tool that has aided you?
The ATIXA Toolkit is an extremely comprehensive and valuable resource of documents, templates, and other information that helps me manage my institution’s Title IX program according to best practices. I don’t have time to reinvent the wheel, but I don’t need to because the Toolkit has just about everything that I need.
What is one piece of advice you would offer your fellow practitioners?
I would tell my fellow practitioners to use the many resources offered by ATIXA to help you run a compliant, responsive, and thorough Title IX program, always providing the best practices and expertise in the field.
Why did you become a member of ATIXA?
I became a member of ATIXA because I wanted to learn from and associate with the top practitioners in the Title IX field to run the best Title IX program as possible at my institution.
