We take great pleasure in announcing the appointment of Katie Walker as Executive Director of ATIXA, effective March 16, 2020.

Katie’s hire reflects current and anticipated growth of ATIXA and the expansion of education and services to a broader array of communities. She brings extensive non-profit leadership experience, most recently as Executive Director of SkillsUSA Council. She has also served as Executive Director for the Greater Harleysville and North Penn Senior Services and held various leadership roles at YMCAs and Chambers of Commerce.

ATIXA President Brett A. Sokolow, Esq. adds: “We welcome Katie to TNG and look forward to her emphasis on member services and support. ATIXA is a premium, content-rich association. Offering a high level of personalized attention. With Katie joining the ATIXA team, we are even more confident of our ability to deliver valuable and timely service to Title IX professionals in our rapidly changing world.”

In addition to more than 20 years of experience in non-profit management roles, Katie holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Eastern University and a B.S. from Cabrini University. She has a background in membership sales and development, as well as community engagement and strategic initiatives.

We are on-boarding Katie now, despite the challenges presented with COVID-19 restrictions, so we can accelerate our preparation for future trainings and programs in a virtual environment. Katie will join ongoing efforts to plan our in-person programs for later in the year, ATIXA’s comprehensive response to final Regulations, and our day-to-day service to you, our members.

Ryan McDavis remains on during this transition as Executive Director Emeritus; we can’t thank him enough for making this leadership change as seamless as possible.

Katie can be reached at katie.walker@atixa.org. Please join us in welcoming her to our very special association.

Sincerely,
The ATIXA Team
